The Visitors have been writing and demoing a whole whack of new songs for an upcoming single and full length. I've been assured by Skottie Labotomy that Antarctic-Cat Da Gama has been working on new artwork for this stuff and that it "looks insane (literally, as usual, as well as figuratively)." Did I also mention that they are COMPLETELY TOTALLY WICKED STOKED to be opening for SCREECHING WEASEL in Toronto on May 14th??????? Well, they are! Holy shit! Did you buy their Tropic Of Cancer 7" yet? You did? Neat! You didn't? You shit!
The Hextalls totally released a new CD!!! It is full of autotune and songs about people from the pop punk message board!!! The little guy sings a couple of the songs! There is way less swearing! It sounds really awesome! It's easily my favorite record of 2010!!! I spoke to Devin today and his future plans include leaving me more "drunk" voicemails, healing the sick and waiting for MRR to completely inviscerate this amazing new record which you can buy WITH MONEY at

Suspect Parts are on hold for just now while Justin does a bunch of shows with his old band The Clorox Girls with the Cute Lepers and a whole bunch of other bands on the west coast this month. If you are seeing any of these shows I pretty much hate you.
Who does that leave? Hmmmmmmmmmm....... oh yeah! Statues and Tongan Death Grip!!!
There are still some copies of the Statues "We're Disparate" 7" left for sale, and I promise the Tongan Death Grip plates will go back into the press any day now, BUT the BIG NEWS is that both of these bands will have full length records released this spring on P-Trash Records out of Germany!!! Holy crap!!! Statues have a bunch of songs from theirs up on
their Myspace page and Tongan Death Grip totally plan on someday having a Myspace page!!! They also have some shirts available with the 7" design on them, so if you want one of those, get at me and I'll put you onto them.
I think that's everything for just now. 2009 was an exhausting and fun first year, thanks to everyone who helped out and ordered HPR releases. 2010 is just starting to shape up, plan-wise and I will have news about at least 2 new releases here very soon, so keep watching this space and by all means, spend some money while you're here.
